20 Years of Smarter Promotions

This year, Icon Blue celebrates 20 years of achievement in our goal to provide companies with smarter promotional product ideas and the service to match.

Icon Blue was founded in 1998 by Walter and Bonnie Hill, located on Wilshire Boulevard’s Miracle Mile in Los Angeles, California. Walter Hill used his expertise in licensing and promotional products to form Icon Blue’s signature brand—a boutique promotional products distributor with a focus on service and marketing solutions. Icon Blue has been recognized as a Star Supplier and received Supplier of the Year honors for over 10 consecutive years from Fortune 500 companies like American Honda Motors, Hilton Hotels, and Macy’s.

Walter’s daughter, Eden McClellan, joined the company in 2012 and currently runs the daily operations as President/COO. In 2015, Walter Hill received the Marvin Spike Lifetime Achievement Award from Counselor Magazine. Icon Blue has received Best Place to Work recognition from Counselor Magazine in 2015 and 2016, as well as PPB Magazine’s Greatest Industry Workplaces in 2017. In 2017, PPB awarded Director of Accounts, Alison Peters, with the Service Superhero recognition and President/COO, Eden McClellan, the Best Boss distinction.
